Reinier Vinkeles (Amsterdam; 1741-1816), was an 18th-century painter and engraver from the Northern Netherlands, who was the later teacher of several talented artists. He studied for some ten years with Jan Punt and joined the Amsterdam Stadstekenacademie
Subject: Antique Master Print, titled: 'Petrus Camper.' - Portrait of Petrus Camper (1722-1789), was a Dutch physician, anatomist, physiologist, midwife, zoologist, anthropologist, palaeontologist and a naturalist. Camper was a celebrity in Europe and a member of the Royal Society.
Condition: Good, given age. No margins, some soiling. General age-related toning and/or occasional minor defects from handling. Please study scan carefully.
