Artists and Engravers: Made by 'Claude Duflos' after 'Etienne Jeaurat'. Claude Duflos (Paris 1665-1727) was a reknown French engraver. It is not known by whom he was instructed, but his style resembles that of Francois de Poilly. Etienne Jeaurat (1699-1789) worked in Paris as a painter and publisher.
