Artists and Engravers: Made by 'Cornelis Ploos van Amstel/Bernard Schreuder' after 'Jan Steen'. Cornelis Ploos van Amstel (1726-1798) was active as merchant in Amsterdam. He was an avid collector of art and invented a method of making prints after drawings from his own collection. Jan Havickszoon Steen (1626-1679).
