Artists and Engravers: Made by Frederik Bloemaert after Abraham Bloemaert. Frederik Bloemaert (Utrecht 1614-1690) was a Dutch printmaker and draughtsman. Abraham Bloemaert (1566-1651) was a Dutch painter and etcher/engraver. He was one of the 'Haarlem Mannerists', but shifted towards a more Baroque style around 1600.
Subject: Antique print, untitled. Portrait of a man with bag slung over his shoulder, jug and cane.
Condition: Good, given age. Crease from the right margin into the image. A tiny nick in the left margin. Small stain in the print (next ot the man's hat), another small stain in the top of the image, and one in the top margin. General age-related toning and/or occasional minor defects from handling. Please study scan carefully.
