Artists and Engravers: Made by 'Jacob Gole' after own design. Jacob Gole (ca. 1660-1737) belonged to a group of French refugees who came to the Northern Netherlands in the end of the 17th. Century. He worked in close collaboartion with and was a student of Cornelis Dusart. He specialized in the making of mezzotints.

Condition: Excellent, given age. thread margins, very good example. General age-related toning and/or occasional minor defects from handling. Please study scan carefully.
