Artists and Engravers: Made by 'Ludolph Businck' after 'George Lallemand'. Ludolph / Ludwig Businck (ca. 1590-1669) was a German painter and woodblock engraver who orginated from Münden. He worked several years in Paris from 1630. George Lallemand (before 1575-1636) was probably a pupil of Jacques Bellange. In his workshop in Paris artists like Philippe de Champaigne, Laurent de la Hyre and Nicolas Poussin worked as pupils.
