Artists and Engravers: Made by 'Gerard Edelinck' after 'Henri Watele'. Gerard Edelinck / Edelink (1640-1707) was a Flemish engraver from Antwerp. He mostly worked in Paris, where he built a great reputation. He was a student of Jasper Huberti and Cornelis Galle in Antwerp and worked with Poilly and Nanteuil in Paris. He became engraver to the King and later a member of the Academy in 1677. Henri Watele (1640-1677).
