Artists and Engravers: Made by an anonymous engraver after 'Allan Ramsay'. Allan Ramsay (1713-1784) worked as a portrait painter. He made several trips to Italy and after the crippling of his right arm started writing.
Subject: Antique Master Print, titled: 'Lady Lenox.' - Portrait of lady Lennox, one of the Lennox sisters (Sarah?). A pencil annotation in the lower margin reads: 'Attr[ibuted to] Sir Joshua [Reynolds]'.
Condition: Very good, given age. Small margins. Some faint small stains in the margin edges. General age-related toning and/or occasional minor defects from handling. Please study scan carefully.
