Artists and Engravers: Made by 'Jonas Suyderhoef' after 'Thomas de Keyser'. Jonas Suyderhoef (Dutch; ca. 1613-1686) was a Dutch engraver from Leiden. He worked in Haarlem. He produced highly finished engravings often in collaboration with his tutor Soutman. He specialized mostly in portraits. Thomas de Keyser (1596-1667) was a popular portrait artist from Amsterdam.
