Artists and Engravers: Made by 'Pieter Schenck' after an anonymous artist. Pieter/ Petrus Schenk / Schenck the elder (1660-1711/1713), a German engraver and cartographer active in Amsterdam and Leipzig. One of his specialties was the mezzotint.

Condition: Good, given age. Margins cropped close to the platemark. All margins extended using contemporary paper. Some creasing and a small tear in the lower edge. Small stains in the margin edges. General age-related toning and/or occasional minor defects from handling. Please study scan carefully.
