Artists and Engravers: Made by 'Cornelis Brouwer' after 'Adriaen van de Velde'. Cornelis Brouwer (+1803) worked together with Ploos van Amstel. He published several printdrawings himself. Adriaen van de Velde (1636-1672) was a very versatile artist. He made paintings, drawings and prints. He is even known to make terracotta sculptures. His subjectmatter is almost always cattle, dogs and horses.
