Artists and Engravers: Made by 'Reinier Nooms Zeeman' after own design. Reinier Nooms (dit Zeeman, 1623-1664) was a Dutch painter of mainly nautical scenes. He started painting after a career on sea. His knowledge of sailing and ships proofed to be essential for his art.
