Artists and Engravers: Engraved by Crispyn de Passe I after G. Geldorp. Crispyn de Passe was born in Arnemuide, Zeeland in 1565. He started engraving in Antwerp and was later active in Cologne and Utrecht. Being highly active he produced a large amount of prints, including a group of very finely engraved portraits.
