Artists and Engravers: Made by 'Abraham Blooteling' after 'Jacob van Ruisdael'. Abraham Blooteling (1640-1690) was active as etcher and mezzotint engraver. He worked in London for a while and was one of the important promotors of the mezzotint in England. Jacob Isaacksz van Ruysdael (c.1629 - 1682) was a Dutch goldne age landscape painter, and is considered the most famous of four Haarlem family members who painted.

Condition: Good, given age. Thread margins, lower left and right corners reinforced with contemporary paper to the rear. A crease in the top edge of the image. General age-related toning and/or occasional minor defects from handling. Please study scan carefully.
