Artists and Engravers: Made by 'Johannes Visscher' after 'Nicolaes Berchem'. Johannes de Visscher (1633-after 1692) was an etcher based in Amsterdam. He made many prints afetr the designs of Berchem. Nicolaes Pietersz. Berchem (1620-1683) was a Dutch painter of Italianate pastoral landscapes. Numerous of his paintings were engraved by famous engravers such as Boucher, Oudry, and Fragonard. Figures always feature quite prominently in his paintings.

Condition: Good, given age. Margins cropped close to the image border. A small crease in the lower left corner. A small stain in the image area. General age-related toning and/or occasional minor defects from handling. Please study scan carefully.
