Artists and Engravers: Made by 'Abraham Blooteling' after 'Jacob van Ruisdael'. Abraham Blooteling (1640-1690) was active as etcher and mezzotint engraver. He worked in London for a while and was one of the important promotors of the mezzotint in England. Jacob Isaacksz van Ruysdael (c.1629 - 1682) was a Dutch goldne age landscape painter, and is considered the most famous of four Haarlem family members who painted.
