Artists and Engravers: Engraved by Francesco del Petro (Udine 1740-1806 Venice, Italian) and Nicolo Cavalli (Venice 1730-1805 Italian) after Francesco Maggiotto (1750-1805 Italian).
Subject: Plate titled : 'Nil ego, si ducor libo fumante: tibi ingens. Virtus atque animus cenis responsat opimis. Obsequium ventris mihi perniciosius est cur.' (Horace satires 2.7: If I am tempted by a smoking party, I'm good for nothing.)
Condition: Excellent. General age related toning and light staining. Sheet cut at the plate mark. Please study scan.
