Artists and Engravers: Made by 'Claude Duflos' after 'Jean Raoux'. Claude Duflos (Paris 1665-1727) was a French engraver and print publisher active in Paris. It is not known by whom he was instructed, but his style resembles that of Francois de Poilly. He specialized in small refined prints. Jean Raoux (1677-1734) worked in Paris and moved to London in 1720.

Condition: Fair, given age. Margins cropped to the image edge. Textcaption partly clipped. A small stain in the middle of the image, and a rust stain in the border in the lower right. General age-related toning and/or occasional minor defects from handling. Please study scan carefully.
