Artists and Engravers: Made by 'Antonio Tempesta' after own design. Antonio Tempesta (ca. 1555-1630) was a Rome born artist, who specialised in etchings. His prints with hunting scenes, biblical matter etc. attracted great popularity in the early 17th. Century and were copied widely. His prints were sought after.
