Artists and Engravers: Made by 'Adrian Ludwig Richter' after 'Johann Gottlieb Hantsch'. Adrian Ludwig Richter (German; 1803-1884) was one of the more important artist of the Biedermeier era. He painted, etched and designed illustrations. Johann Gottlieb Hantsch (German; 1794-1848) originated from Dresden. He specialised in genre subjects.
