Artists and Engravers: Made by 'Emmanuel Noterman' after 'P. Kremers'. Emmanuel Noterman (1808-1863) originated from Oudenaerde. He studied in Antwerp as a pupil of Bernard Durieux. Nothing concerning this artist could be found.
Subject: Antique Master Print, untitled. The death of Anthony van Dyck. He is seated in a chair, while his dog rests it's head on his lap. A female figure (his wife?) and a servant boy are present.
Condition: Very good, given age. Ample margins, some soiling and browning. General age-related toning and/or occasional minor defects from handling. Please study scan carefully.
