Artists and Engravers: Made by 'Simon Gribelin' after own design. Simon Gribelin / Gribelin fils (1661-1733) was a French engraver. He was the son of the engraver Jacob Gribelin (1635-1676) from a family of jewellers and watchmakers in Paris. After 1680 he settled in London as an engraver.
