Artists and Engravers: Made by 'J. G. Swelinck' after 'Adriaen van der Venne'. J. G. Swelinck (ca. 1601-ca. 1645) was active as engraver. Little is known about him. Adriaen Pietersz van de Venne (1589-1662), was a reknown Dutch painter of allegories, genre subjects and portraits, as well as a miniaturist and designer of political satires, book illustrations and a versifier.

Condition: Very good, given age. Ample margins, some scattered small stains in the top margin and the image (the stains in the image mainly visible on the rear). General age-related toning and/or occasional minor defects from handling. Please study scan carefully.
