Artists and Engravers: Made by 'Veit Hans Schnorr von Carolsfeld' after 'Ludwig Schnorr von Carolsfeld'. Veit Hans Schnorr von Carolsfeld (1764-1841) worked in Leipzig. He was the father of the artists Julius, Ludwig, Eduard and Ottilie Schnorr von Carolsfeld. Ludwig Schnorr von Carolsfeld (1788-1853) worked in Vienna and Leipzig.

Condition: Very good, given age. Scattered foxing throughout. Bound in a blue paper wrapper. Lacking plates 11 and 25 from the set. General age-related toning and/or occasional minor defects from handling. Please study scan carefully.
