Artists and Engravers: Made by 'Hermanus Numan' after an anonymous artist. Hermanus Numan (1744-1820) was a Dutch portrait and landscape painter, designer and engraver from Ezinge. He was a pupil of Jan Augustin in Haarlem and later worked in Paris (where he worked with Le Bas) and Amsterdam.
